     Grant & Barrow, A Professional Law Corporation, was formed in 1976 and is currently owned by Olden C. Toups, Jr., consisting of three associates, two paralegals, and supporting staff. The firm has been continuously domiciled in Gretna, Louisiana, since it was formed with the original partners, Jack A. Grant and Ernest E. Barrow II.

     The firm has been general counsel for the Jefferson Parish School Board since 1982. The firm has also been retained as special counsel by the East Baton Rouge Parish School Board, St. John the Baptist Parish School Board, St. Tammany Parish School Board, Rapides Parish School Board, Lafourche Parish School Board, Pointe Coupee Parish School Board, and East Feliciana Parish School Board and has represented eleven school boards in school finance lawsuits in the state. The firm has been approved as special counsel by the Attorney General of the State of Louisiana whenever such approval has been requested.
